"How Many Giant Pandas Are Left in the World?" Their numbers are dwindling, and these real-life teddy bears need our help. While conservation efforts are underway, these cuddly creatures are facing serious problems in the wild.

Other reasons the panda population is threatened: Illegal poaching for the black market remains a problem, pandas often have difficult pregnancies, and mother pandas only have enough milk to feed one cub, even though two or three cubs are often born at once. Plus, pandas are really picky in choosing a mate.

So, how dire is the situation? The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) says there are just 1,864 pandas left in the wild. There are an additional 400 pandas in captivity, according to Pandas International. They're listed as “vulnerable,” which is the category between “near threatened” and “endangered.”

We Called the Crisis: Pandamic.

In order to create a wholesome environment for pandas to propagate, we decided to take matters into our hands, we rejected the speculation that pandas are fussy and having difficulties, we reckon female pandas are going through an (r)evolution, they have collectively shunned the entire male species (bar a few, obviously). The adorable and mischievous nature of male pandas has run its course, the ladies are opposing (chewing) in silence. They want change!

And for the first time ever, the (panda) ladies will get what they want: badass pandas.
