China’s first-ever Mac Students origination isn't an ad but a social content collaboration between Mac and one of the biggest creators in China.
Our goal is to use a social-led approach to inspire students with authentic stories of exploration on Mac, told in their own language.
To tell our story with a unique hook, we feature an iconic student staple: paomian (instant noodles). Similar to mac and cheese, paomian is a staple in Chinese student life, providing quick meals for countless nights of studying and exploring. Just as Mac powers students’ journeys, paomian sustains them.

The film follows our host, Hé Tongxue, a renowned tech creator seeking inspiration as he visits a student musician and a student climate vlogger. Through light-hearted conversations over a cup of noodles, they share how Mac helps their creative processes and experiment with music and storm chasing.
The film will be featured on our host’s Bilibili (CN YouTube) channel.
In addition, we created 3 x 15s spots with the creators to showcase Mac's capabilities in the most authentic way (Soundtrack by the student musician creator).
